Beginners Class In five evening classes, you will have fun and gain hands-on basic techniques of working with Art Clay through four practical projects, including making a pendant, a ring and earrings. An option to upgrade and make a linking bracelet is also available. The fee includes use of tools, findings, tuition and the silver. At the end of the course you will have four fine silver items, of your own silver creations to proudly show off. All projects are achievable with room for your own personal touch. Design and Make Weekend Residential This exiting course is designed to introduce you to practical designing, coupled with the basics of working with Art Clay so you can bring your designs to life. The all inclusive fee includes 2 nights accommodation, breakfast and lunch, hot drinks during breaks, use of all tools required, tuition, findings (which are all the bits you need to make your items ready to wear) and the silver. | Art Clay Level 1 Certificate This certified course will equip students with the basic techniques of working with Art Clay including: ring making, pendants, stone and pearl setting, burnishing, hollow core items, filigree work, firing, and polishing. The course fee includes your very own toolkit, up to 80g of different types of Art Clay Silver, stones, pearls and findings (which is everything you need to complete each item). Your items and tool kit are yours to keep. An introductory workshop, Beginners Course or prior metal clay experience is a minimum requirement. Art Clay Level 2 Certificate This level will equip students with advanced techniques such as classic ring-making, setting semi-precious stones, glass fusing, mirror finishing and more. The fee includes up to 90g of different types of Art Clay, a small toolkit to add to your previous (Level 1) toolkit, natural and artificial stones and the findings required to complete your classic items. Successful completion of Level 1 and a level of competence is required. |
